You find slope by using x1,y1 and x2,y2. Slope is m= x1,y1/x2,y2. You simplify it and you have slope. The slope of (-2,3) and (0,6) is 9/-2.

ReplyDeleteFirst identify the two points on the line. Second chose 2 points to be (x1, x2) and the other to be (x2, y2). Third use the slope equation to calculate slope.
Answer: (-2,3), (0.6), and you get (9,-2)
What you need to do is identify the two points that are on the line. Next pick 2 points that will be (x1,x2) and the other point will be (x2,y2). After that you use the slope equation to calculate slope. The answer is (-2,3) , (0,6) and you will get (9,-2)

m=6-3/0-(-2). 6-3=3,0-(-2)=2,there so I get the slope 3 over 2 (3/2).

One thing i learned in your class is about translation, dilation,rotation,reflection,and more i cant just forgot it. also u told us if there a dilation in one of those problems it wrong.I don't know what is called.
