How do you find slope if you know two points on a line?Find the slope of a line that has the following points (-2,3) and (0,6)
OR
Use at least three sentences to describe a concept or word that you learned in your math class this week. You also may use the three sentences to describe something you do not understand.
Caroline Kalain Period 2 You find slope by using x1,y1 and x2,y2. Slope is m= x1,y1/x2,y2. You simplify it and you have slope. The slope of (-2,3) and (0,6) is 9/-2.
If you know the origin it is in like 1,2,3 and 4. Then you plot your points whatever your points are but you have to know your origin. So the first origin is Example: (2,1),(-2,3),(3,-1),(-7,-7) Jnique Nelson per.4
Kimberly pierce period 4th You find slope by using x1,y1 and x2,y2. Slope is m= x1,y1/x2,y2. You simplify it and you have slope. The slope of (-2,3) and (0,6) is 9/-2.
Pd. 3 First identify the two points on the line. Second chose 2 points to be (x1, x2) and the other to be (x2, y2). Third use the slope equation to calculate slope. Answer: (-2,3), (0.6), and you get (9,-2)
What you need to do is identify the two points that are on the line. Next pick 2 points that will be (x1,x2) and the other point will be (x2,y2). After that you use the slope equation to calculate slope. The answer is (-2,3) , (0,6) and you will get (9,-2)
Alexander Xiong p1 You will find slopes with two points is x1-y1 over x2-y2. You then substitute5 the numbers in. The answer should be for the slopes of (-2,3) and (0,6) is 9/-2.
Tianna Mitchell p.1 Something i learned this week is dilation. A dilation is a type of transformation that changes the size of the image. And that's what i learned this week.
You can find the slope of two points by using the formula m=y2-y1/x2-x1. The slope of the line with the following points (-2,3) and (0,6) is 3/2. I got this answer by doing m=6-3/0-(-2). 6-3=3,0-(-2)=2,there so I get the slope 3 over 2 (3/2).
To find slope you first identify 2 points on a line. Then you pick 1 to be (1x,1Y)and the other to be (2x,2y).Last you use to equation to find the slope.
Sommer Drainer Pd.2 A way you find slope is by using the formula m=x1-y1/x2-y2. They you have to put your points of (-2,3) and (0,6) in the this formula. After doing that you should get the answer of 9/-2.
Step One: Identify two points on the line. Step Two: Select one to be (x1, y1) and the other to be (x2, y2). Step Three: Use the slope equation to calculate slope.
So you do y1 - y2 and x1 -x2 and you should put the y1 and y2 over x1 and x2 and then do the math and you should get 9 over -2
period 2 First you identify two points on the slope. You find the slope by using x1,y1 and x2,y2.So by using the formula m=y2-y1/x2-x1 and using the plots (-2,3) and (0,6) you get 3/2.
per 8 To find slope you first identify 2 points on a line. Then you pick 1 to be (1x,1Y)and the other to be (2x,2y).Last you use to equation to find the slope.
In order to find the slope using two points on a line, you find rise over run. You go tYou go over first, then go up or down. The slope of the two points listed is (3, 2).
Per. 3 This week in math class I learned about dilations. I learned that when you dilate something you shrink or stretch it. I also learned how to graph an object after you dilate it.
One thing i learned in your class is about translation, dilation, rotation, reflection, and more i cant just forgot it. also u told us if there a dilation in one of those problems it wrong.I don't know what is called.
First you have to put x1,y1,x2,y2 under the numbers. Then you line it the numbers up as x1,x2 as the numerator and y1,y2 as th demonstrator. Then subtract the negative number then the other numbers you add.
