Willie can buy 32 heads of cabbage. I know this because if you take 28.80/1.80 you get 16x2 is 32. 28.80 is for his amount of cash he has and 1.80 is how much 2 cabbages cost 16 is what it equals times 2 because you get 2 for 1.80.

ReplyDeleteWillie can buy a total of 32 cabbages. I got this answer by dividing 1.80/2=.90. There so each cabbage cost $.90. Then you divide 28.80/.90=32. That's how I got my answer, 32 cabbages.
