GP 2 W 5 (Due 12/8)

How do you find slope if you know two points on a line? Find the slope of a line that has the following points (-2,3) and (0,6)
OR

Use at least three sentences to describe a concept or word that you learned in your math class this week.  You also may use the three sentences to describe something you do not understand.

You find slope by using x1,y1 and x2,y2. Slope is m= x1,y1/x2,y2. You simplify it and you have slope. The slope of (-2,3) and (0,6) is 9/-2.

You could find the slope by doing x1-y1 and x2-y1. and then you would divide the numerator by the denominator. The slope would be 8/-3.

  3. you have to do x1-x2,y1-y2. divide if the fraction is improper.the answer would be 9/-2

  4. p1 you have to do x1-x2-y1-y2. divide if its an improper fraction and you would get a answer of 9/-2

  7. If you know the origin it is in like 1,2,3 and 4. Then you plot your points whatever your points are but you have to know your origin. So the first origin is Example: (2,1),(-2,3),(3,-1),(-7,-7) Jnique Nelson per.4

  12. You find the slope by using x1,y1 and x2,y2.m=x1,y1/x2,y2. so then you will end up with (-2,3), (0,6), witch ends up to be (9-2)

First identify the two points on the line. Second chose 2 points to be (x1, x2) and the other to be (x2, y2). Third use the slope equation to calculate slope.
    Answer: (-2,3), (0.6), and you get (9,-2)

  15. What you need to do is identify the two points that are on the line. Next pick 2 points that will be (x1,x2) and the other point will be (x2,y2). After that you use the slope equation to calculate slope. The answer is (-2,3) , (0,6) and you will get (9,-2)

Something i learned this week is dilation. A dilation is a type of transformation that changes the size of the image. And that's what i learned this week.

You can find the slope of two points by using the formula m=y2-y1/x2-x1. The slope of the line with the following points (-2,3) and (0,6) is 3/2. I got this answer by doing
    m=6-3/0-(-2). 6-3=3,0-(-2)=2,there so I get the slope 3 over 2 (3/2).

A way you find slope is by using the formula m=x1-y1/x2-y2. They you have to put your points of (-2,3) and (0,6) in the this formula. After doing that you should get the answer of 9/-2.

  34. Step One: Identify two points on the line.
Step Two: Select one to be (x1, y1) and the other to be (x2, y2).
Step Three: Use the slope equation to calculate slope.

So you do y1 - y2 and x1 -x2 and you should put the y1 and y2 over x1 and x2 and then do the math and you should get 9 over -2

First you identify two points on the slope. You find the slope by using x1,y1 and x2,y2.So by using the formula m=y2-y1/x2-x1 and using the plots (-2,3) and (0,6) you get 3/2.

  44. First you have to put x1,y1,x2,y2 under the numbers. Then you line it the numbers up as x1,x2 as the numerator and y1,y2 as th demonstrator. Then subtract the negative number then the other numbers you add.
