  1. .1 a scientific notation is a way of expressing numbers that are too big or too small to be written in decimal form.instead of writing 0.0000000056 we write 5.6 x 10 square negative nine.

  2. Scientific notation is a way of expressing numbers that are too big or too small. It is written in decimal form. For an example 7.8x10 with the exponent of 4. The answer would be 780000. Jnique Nelson Per.3

Scientific notation is a way people write very large numbers and make them smaller. It is used to make numbers easier to write. An example of scientific notation is if you have the number 0.00043 you could write it 4.3x10-4

Scientific notation is a way of expressing numbers that is to big or small, it makes numbers easier to write , and it is written in decimal form. An example of scientific notation, is 0.000000065 and you can write it like 6.5x10.

No solution is when there is absolutely no answer. Or when you don't have and answer that is reasonable. Also when it has a zero in it

Scientific notation is a way of expressing numbers that are large or small to be written out.
ex. 0.0000000056, can be written as 5.6x10(-5).

  11. Period 1 Ronald Caldwell Scientific notation is a mathematical expression used to represent a decimal number between 1 and 10 multiplied by ten. It is used to write large numbers using less digits. An example of scientific notation is when you write 3 x 10³ for 3,000.

Scientific notation is a way to decimals that are too long to write out. It would be easier to write 4.5x10(-5) than it would be to write out 0.0000000045.

  20. One thing i learned in this class was how to use Rise/Run in a slope and how to find the slope.
For Example-2.5x20(-3)=-150 this would be easier for me to find and do my slopes.

  25. Scientific notation is the way people write very large and very small numbers. Scientific notation is used to simplify writing out large or small numbers. For example, 602200000000000000000000 equals 6.022 times 10 to the 23 power.

  27. Scientific notation is a way of expressing numbers that are too big or too small. Its used to be more convenient in writing very big or very small number. Instead of 5000 you could do 5x10^3.... Ps the 10 is to the 3rd power.

Scientific notation is a mathematical expression used to convert numbers in to decimals. Numbers from 1 to 10 are multiply by 10. Scientific notation is also used to convert any large and small numbers to a written from of a decimal. An example is .0000056. You can convert this into 5.6 times 10 and get .00000056. This is what scientific notation is.

Scientific notation is a formula used to simplify numbers that are too large or too small. For example, 0.00000005 in scientific notation is 5*10^-7. A larger number would work the same, like 5,000,000, which would be 5*10^6.
