    1050=4n+150
    900=4n
    225=n
    1st night 225 2nd night atc 250 3nd night ate 225 and 4th night ate 300 all 4 nights add up to 1050 dragon flies eaten

    let x stand for the amount of dragon flies ate that night. And y stand for the first night. IF you were to set up an algebraic equation it would look like this.
    1st night y
    2nd night y+25
    3rd night y+50
    4th night y+75
    After that you find out how many the bat ate for the first night which is 225. After you find that out you would sub in the 225 for y to get the second part of the equation.
    1st night 225
    2nd night 225+25=250
    3rd night 225+50=275
    4th night 225=75=300
    After that you add up all the numbers 225+250+275+300 And after that you should get the answer of 1050

    If the bat ate 1,050 dragonflies on 4 consecutive nights, then the bat would have eaten 225 dragonflies on the first night, 250 on the second night, 275 dragonflies on the third night, and 300 dragonflies on the fourth night. 225+250+275+300 = 1,050

    The bat ate 225 dragonflies the 1st night. Ate 250 on the 2nd night. Ate 275 the 3rd night. Then ate 300 dragonflies on the 4th night. By adding up the total amount of dragonflies eaten each night, they would equal 1,050 dragonflies eaten in total.
