  4. You buy ornaments for $46 then you sell them for $8.50, $46/8.50=5.4. You would need at least 6 ornaments to make a profit

If you spend $46 on supplies to make wooden ornaments you would have to make and sell 6 ornaments to make a profit, if you want to sell them for $8.50 each. Because 46 divided by 8.50 is 5.4 which rounds to 6. And to find your profit you take $8.50 times 6. You would make a $5 profit.

If you spend $46 on supplies to make an ornament and plan to sell the ornaments for $8.50, then you would be able to make about 6 ornaments. I got this answer by taking the $46 and dividing it by the $8.50, which equals 5.4. Then I rounded it to 6. So the answer would be 6 ornaments, if you plan to sell the ornaments by $8.50 each and get a positive profit. You would make $5 in profit

  15. If you spend $46 on supplies to make ornaments, then sell them for $8.50, you would be making 6 ornaments. I got my answer by first taking the $46 then dividing it by $8.50 to get 5.4. Then I rounded the 5.4 up to 6 so you would be making about 6 ornaments to sell. If you sell the ornaments and get a positive point, you would make $5.
