ReplyDeleteIf you spend $46 on supplies to make wooden ornaments you would have to make and sell 6 ornaments to make a profit, if you want to sell them for $8.50 each. Because 46 divided by 8.50 is 5.4 which rounds to 6. And to find your profit you take $8.50 times 6. You would make a $5 profit.

If you spend $46 on supplies to make ornaments, then sell them for $8.50, you would be making 6 ornaments. I got my answer by first taking the $46 then dividing it by $8.50 to get 5.4. Then I rounded the 5.4 up to 6 so you would be making about 6 ornaments to sell. If you sell the ornaments and get a positive point, you would make $5.
