I took 20 dollars minus the tip and the first mile (1.50). Then I divided 16.50 by .90 and got 18.333333. For $20 Mr. West could go 19 miles.

ReplyDeleteOne thing I learned this week in math class was Quadratic Equations and functions. Another thing I learned in math class is that every quadratic has a U-shape graph called a parabola. The vertex is the highest or lowest point on a parabola.
