Sara has a better chance of winning. I know this because Sara has 13 sums from the two spinners that add up to an even number and Tara has 12 sums from the two spinners that add up to an odd number.I got this answer by adding each number five times.
ReplyDelete.1 I learned that stress is in everything you do. stress comes from emotions, events, and your enviorment. i learned all of this in FCS class teaching us about life.
ReplyDeletePeriod 1 I know that Sara is most likely to win.I just added each number 5 times. .I support my answer because Sara has 13 sums from those 2 spinners which is added up to be a even number and Tara has 12 sums from the 2 spinners that added up to be a odd number.

ReplyDeleteSara is most likely to win. I know this because from the 2 spinners, she has 13 sums which add up to be an even number. Meanwhile Tara has a sum of 12 from the 2 spinners that ended up being an odd number. That's how I know Sara's most likely to win.
Sara has a better chance of winning. I found this out because she has 13 sums that add up to an even number from the two spinners. However, Tara only has a sum of 12 from the 2 spinners that were an odd number. That's how I found out Sara will win more than likely.

ReplyDeleteOne thing I learned this week was scientific notation.Scientific notation is a way of expressing numbers that are too big or too small to be conveniently written in decimal form.
Sara has a better chance of winning than Tara does. I know Sara's chance of winning is better because She has 13 sums from the 2 spinners which adds up to a even number.Tara has 12 sums and 2 spinners which adds up to an odd number.

ReplyDeleteOne thing I learn in math class this week was adding/subtracting and multiplying polynomials. A monomial is a product of a number and one or more variables. A polynomial is a monomial or a sum of monomials.
One thing i learned in math class this week was about scientific notation. scientific notation is about a number that is to big to write in a calculator so it is written in a decimal form.
ReplyDeleteSara has a better chance of winning the spinner game. I know this because she has 13 sums that adds up to an even number from the two spinners. Tara only has a sum of 12 from the 2 spinners that were an odd number. That's how I found out that Sara will win more than likely then Tara.

ReplyDeleteSara has a better chance of winning the game. In every possible combination of adding numbers 1-5, there is one more even sum than there are odd sums. Because Sara wins whenever there's an even sum, she has a slightly better chance at winning.
Sara has a better chance of winning the game than Tara. With the combinations 1 to 5 there is one more odd sum than even. So because there is one more odd sum Sara has a better chance of winning.

ReplyDeleteOne thing I learned in math this week was scientific notation. Scientific notation is a easier way to write larger numbers. Example, you could write 5.6*10 to the -9th power instead of writing 0.0000000056

ReplyDeleteThis week, we learned the concept of scientific notation. This a way to express large numbers in a simple way. An example would 2.3x10 to the 2 power.
