GP 3 Week 4 Due 2/15

At a baby shower, we started discussing baby statistics. One of the women told us she had heard a report that for every 100 babies born, there were 6 more boys than girls. If we were to randomly pick a child from a representative group, what is the probability of picking a girl?

OR

Use at least three sentences to describe a concept or word that you learned in your math class this week.  You also may use the three sentences to describe something you do not understand.

One concept I learned in class this week was how to write and graph exponential growth functions. I learned that linear functions are straight when graphing them while exponential functions are curvy. I also learned how to tell the difference between linear and exponential functions. Adding is linear and multiplying is exponential functions. This is a concept I learned this week in class.
