GP 4 Week 5 (Due 5/5)

According to the bus schedule, a bus stops at the corner of 2nd Street and 9th Street every thirty minutes, on the half hour.  The bus is sometimes up to five minutes late.  Your watch says it is 3:50 PM.  The time you wait for the bus will probably be:

     A.  greater than or equal to fifteen minutes
     B.  less than or equal to fifteen minutes
     C.  greater than fifty minutes

     D.  less than five minutes

  1. Since the time is 3:50 and the bus can be up to five minutes late. The time will be around 4:05 by the time the bus comes. So it will be less than or equal to 15 minutes, which is letter B.

I got the answer B because if the bus were to stop every half an hour, you would be standing there for at least 10 minutes and if the bus driver were to be late by 5 minutes, you'd be standing there until 4:05.

The answer would be B because if it is 3:50 the bus would be there at 4:00.Also the bus could be up to 5 minutes late so could get there at 4:05. This would mean the bus would arrive in 15 mins or earlier.

The answer is B, because the bus reaches the 2nd and the 9th street every 30 minutes, and my watch says 3:50. I'd say the bus would be around where I'm at at 4:05 or 4:10, since it also says the bus is sometimes 5 minutes late.

From this I got the answer of B. This is because there would be 10 minutes until the next bus to stop. But you also would have to add onto the fact that the bus can be 5 minutes late.

    My answer is a B.
Since the bus in always late about 5 minutes then the latest it the bus can be is to 4:05.
So how you get 4:05 is the bus comes five minutes late but the latest it can ever come is 15 minutes.
    So u will get 4:05.
