GP 4 Week 2 (Due 4/7)

Five children and one adult went to a concert.  Adult tickets were $14.  The total price for all the tickets was $59.  What was the cost of each child’s ticket?

  1. Since adult tickets are $14 each and only one adult went, you subtract $14 from $59. That gives us $45. Next you divide 45 by 5 since 5 children went. 45 divided by 5 equals 9. So each ticket cost 9 dollars.

The cost of one child's ticket is $9. I got this answer by taking the total price of the tickets ($59) and subtracting that by $14, (the price of an adult ticket). That would equal 45, and then I divided that by 5. That's how I got the answer 9.

The cost of the ticket is $9. $59 - $14 = $45. Divide 45 by 5 because there are 5 children. This led me to the answer of $9, the cost of a ticket for each child.

A adult ticket is $15 there is one adult and 5 kids the total cost is $59. Subtract 15 from 59 and divide by 5 to get 9.it is $9 per ticket for each kid.
    59-14=45
    45/5=9

  9. The cost of each child's ticket was $9. I know this because $59 - $14 = $45. $45 is the total cost of the 5 children. To divide the cost among the five children, I divided $49 by 5 children which gave me the answer $9 cost of tickets for 5 children Ong/Jackson

The cost of each child's ticket is $9.
How i got nine is $59 minus 14.
Then you get the answer 45 divide that by 5 and get the answer $9.

If five children and one adult went to a concert. Adult tickets were $14. The total price for all the tickets was $59. What you have to do is take $59-$14=45/5=9 the cost of each child’s ticket is $9.

    $14.00 5c + $14.00 = 59.00
    -14.00 = -14.00
    5c divided 5 = 45.00 divided by 5

    1 child = $9.00

The cost of the child's ticket was $9.00 each.

    Each ticket for an child would cost $9 because x + 14 = 59
you subtract 14 from both sides and will get 45 .
That means the children cost would be $45 .
But there are 5 children so you divide 45 by five and will get 9 because 9*5 =45 .
