GP 4 Week 8 (Due 5/26)
Leroy sold half of his comic books and then bought sixteen more. He now has 36. With how many did he begin?
Leroy had 40 comic books to begin with. I got my answer by subtracting 16 from 36, which equals 20. Then I multiplied 20 by 2 and that equals 40. So he had 40 comic books at first.
The answer I got was 40. I got this answer by subtracting 16 from 36, which equals 20. Then I multiplied the 20 by 2, which gave me the answer of 40 comic books.
