GP 4 Week 1 (Due 3/31)

I bought three shirts that had equivalent retail values.  I used a $15 gift certificate at the time of purchase and paid a total of $81.00.  How much did each individual shirt cost?

  1. Each individual shirt is 32 dollars. Since a $15 dollar gift certificate was used, you add 15 to the total amount of 81 to get 96 dollars. Then you divide that by 3 to get 32. Each shirt is 32 dollars.

If you paid a total of $81 and $15 then that would equal $96. Divide $96 by 3 because you bought 3 shirts. So each shirt would cost $32.

I got $32. First I added $81+$15 and that equals $96. Then I divided that by three and got $32. So you bought 3 shirts for $32 each.

  5. Each shirt would cost $32 each. I know this because when i added $81 and $15 it equaled $96. I then divided 96 by 2 which gave me 32. 81+15=96 96 divided by 3=32. this shows that each shirt cost $32.

you had a $15 gift certificate and the total cost was $81 you would add,15+81=96. Without the certificate your total would be $96.You bought 3 shits so divide 96/3=32. Each shirt was $32!

The shirts would be $32 each if he buys them. I then divided $96 by 3 to get $32. How i got $96 was when he used the $15 gift card and $81. Added them both up and got $96. Each individual shirt would cost $32.

The shirts would have to be 32$ each. How I got that is by adding 15+81. Which equals 96$. But now you have to divide 96 by 3. which equals 32$. Each individual shirt cost 32$
