The agent should expect to receive $12,480 in commission. Since the house ended up selling for $205,000 then the agent should actually receive $12,300 in commission. I got my answer by multiplying 208,000 and 205,000 by 0.06.

  3. The agent would receive 12,480 dollars in commission.
Since the house is selling for 205,000 dollars would receive 12,300 dollars.
    205,000 x .06 = 12,300. 208,000 x .06 = 12,300.

  4. If it sold for $208,000 the real estate agent gets $12,480.
If it sold for $208,000 the real estate agent gets $12,300.
Multiply $208,000 by 6% and $205,000 by 6% and you get the amount of money the real estate agent gets.

Note: I might consider this job, i'm selling houses for a company and getting paid 4 times a monthly pay most households get.

  9. A. the agent would get $12,300 because you do 205,000 X 6%= $12,300
    B. the agent would get the same $12,300 because you do 208,000 X 6%= $12,300
so the agent would receive $12,300 from each house.

    1. Your answer is not correct. Look at some of the other answers. You just need to multiply 6% times the amount.
