The sum of 3 consecutive even integers is 216.What are the integers? Explain how you found your answer.
Consecutive means "one after another", or "in a row". So ... The first 4 consecutive numbers are 1,2,3, and 4. The first 4 consecutive odd numbers are 1,3,5, and 7.
The three even consecutive integers are 70,72,and 74 because 70+72+74=216. i got my answer by dividing 216 by 3 and i got 72 so i count the next two even consecutive integers which are 74 and 76 six the sum was over 216. So i used 70 instead of 76. that is how i got my answer.

I agree with Madaja because 70+72+74=216. And since 70, 72, and 74 are all even, that would make this the correct answer. Yhat is why I agree with Madaja.

216 / 3 then one after another so 216/3=72 but the integer closest but before 72 is 70 then after 70 is 72 then 74

I divided 216 by 3 then i got 72, i added 72 and got 142. Then i subtracted 142 by 72 and got 70. that is how i found the answer.
