GP 4 Week 3 (Due 4/27)
Joe says that it will take in one and half days to drive to Nevada. If this is true, how many seconds will it take Joe to drive to Nevada?
Nyah Horn per.2 It would him 129,600 seconds to drive to Nevada. I know this because there are 1,440 minutes in a day and there are 720 minutes in a half of a day. I added those two together to get 2,160 minutes. I multiplied 2,160 by 60 and i got 129,600.
Pd2 If there are 24 hrs in a day you would multiply it by 60 because of the min. You would get 1440. If you multiply 1440 by 1/2 you get 720. Then you would have to add those together and get 2160 minutes. And if their are 60sec in a min you would multiply 2160 by 60 and get 129600
It would take him 129,600 seconds to drive there. I found this out by doing 24x60 and getting 1,440 and cutting that in half to get 720. I added them together to get 2,160 and multiplied that by 60.

Choua Lee Per1 It would take Joe 129,600 seconds to drive to Nevada. I know this because one and a half days is 36 hours. If you take the 36 hours and multiply it by the 60 minutes in 1 hour you get 2,160 minutes. Then take the 2,160 minutes and multiply it by the 60 seconds in 1 minute to get 129,600.
Pd 3. It would take him 129,600 seconds to drive to Nevada. I know this because there are 24 hours in a day and if you multiply that by 60, you get 1,440. Then divide by 1/2 and get 720. Then add them together to get 2,160 and divide by 60. That’s how I got 129,600 seconds

Period 2 Angelia Bryan It would take Joe 129,600 seconds to drive to Nevada. I know this because a day and a half is 36 hours. Then if you take the 36 hours and multiply it by the 60 minutes which is 1 hour you get 2,160 minutes. Then you would take the 2,160 minutes and multiply it by 60 seconds which is a 1 minute to get 129,600 that is the total time in seconds it would take Joe to drive to Nevada.
The answer i got was 129,600 seconds. I got this answer by knowing there are 36 hours in half a day. Then I multiplied 36 and 60 and got 2,160. After that I multiplied 2,160 by 60(minutes) and got 129,600.
Joe would take 129,600 seconds to drive to Nevada. I got this answer by taking 36 hr. and multiply it by 60 min., which is 2,160. Then I multiplied 2,160 by 60 min. which gives me 129,600. That's how I got my answer.
