    we have learned how to find the slope. to find the slope you divide the differences of the y coordinites. formulaton find the slope of a line

  2. We have learned that m equals slope and b equal the y axis and that u can make a liner equation just by graphing

    1. A sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a period. A period looks like this .
      I do not see one period in your answer.
      I will not record a grade of F. Please try again and correct your answer.

  3. Point Slope Form.

    Basically it goes hand and hand with standard form which is Ax + By = C you use the point slope form y - y1 = M(x-x1) you distribute with it and then you have to get the answer to be like Ax + By = C

    Example: 3x + 4y = -13

  4. we learned Ax + By = C you use the point slope form y - y1 = m(x-x1) and distribute with that and then you have to get the answer to look like Ax + By = C

    Example: 3x + 4y = -13

  5. We have learned point slope form. point slope form is y-y1=m(x-x1). You have to use two points and know the slope. This is a method for graphing linear equations.

  6. Solving 2-step Equation

    -3y+5=26

    1)Undo addition or Subtraction
    2)Undo multiplication or Division

    3y+5=26
    -5 -5 Add -5 to both sides
    3y=21
    -3=-3 Divide both sides by -3

    y=-7
    Replace y with -5

    -3(-7)+5=26
    21+5=26
    26=26

  7. One concept we learned was how to solve 2 step equations. An example is 3x-4=2. In order to solve this equation you will have to get rid of -4.in order to get rid of that number you will do the opposite of the number which is to add 4. When you add 4 you also want to add it to the other side of the equal side to make the equation true. Now that the -4 is gone and added to the 2 you now have the equation 3x=6. Now once again you will do the opposite to the 3x. The opposite of multiplying by 3 is dividing by 3. Now you have to divide 3x by 3 to get x by itself. Then once AGAIN you divide to the other side of the equal sign. Then you divide 6 by 3 and get 2 that is our answer x=2.

    One concept that we have learned was how to graph a liner line equation. Y=mx+b slope is M and +b is the Y intercept.Also that slope can be negative or positive number.

    One thing we have learned is the continuation of the y=mx+b formula. m being the slope and b being the y axis. Along with that I learned how to find b. Say the plotted points are (1,1) and you have y=4x+b you can get that b=-3.

  12. One thing I learned this week was that if two lines are perpendicular if one has the negative reciprocal of the other one. Example line one m - 4 line 2 m = -1/4 they are perpendicular. Also if two non vertical lines have the same slope then they are parallel.

  14. One thing I learned was how to do ratios and rates. A ratio uses division to compare two quantities. My Example is
    a to b, a:b, a/b.

    One concept that We have learned in class is y=mx+b. M would be the slope and b would be the y intercept. So here is an example y=9x+3.

    One concept I learned in class was solving proportions using cross products.so how it goes is you have two fractions like 12/21 and 20/35. You cross multiply like 20 times 21 and 12 times 35. You put your answers on top of you numerators and make a bubble around them. Then you see which fraction has the bigger number. And whatever fraction win you would put a less than sign or a more than sign or an equal sign. So in this case it would be an equal sign

  18. One concept I learned is point slope form. Point slope form is y-y1=m(x-x1). To answer this, you need the slope and two points. This can be used to graph linear equations.

  19. one concept that i learned is the y intercept. to do y intercept you find the number the represents the b in y=mx+b then you put a dot on that number on the y axis. then you find your slope wich is m in y=mx+b then you find the slope for those numbers.

    2. We learned Ax+By=C that you have to use the point slope form y - y^1 = m(x-x^) and 2 points (x^1,y^1)(x^2,y^2). You have to find the slope and then fill in y^1 and x^1. That is how you get Ax+By=C.

  20. England period 3: One thing I learned this year is how to graph slope. When you graph slope you can do it one of two ways. You can count rise over run on a coordinate grid. Or you can you the formula y2 minus y1 over x2 minus x1. That is what I learned this year

  21. one thing concept that i learned this week was how to find the y-intercept on a graph."B" is the y-intercept and it is the point where the line crosses the y-axis.one way to find the y-intercept is by finding the point where the line crosses the y-axis.

  23. Mr. Jackson p.1

    We have learned how to do two step equations. Two step equations involves have only variables on one side of the equal sign and numbers on the other side of the equal sign. The other goal is to have the number in front of the variable equal to one.

    example: -16 = x/4 + 2
