  5. Scientific notation: (Also refused to as standard form or standard index form). Is a way of expressing numbers that are too big or too small to be conveniently written. It is used commonly by scientist, mathematicians and engineers it simplifies arithmetic operations.

    Example 6,720,000,000 = 6.72 times 10 9 exponent

    0,0000631 = 6.31 times 10 -5 exponent

Scientific Notation is (also referred to as standard form or standard index form ) Is a way of expressing numbers that are too big or too small to be conveniently written in decimal form. IT is commonly used by scientists, mathmaticians and engineers , in part because it can simplyify certain arithmetic operations.
AN example is instead of writing o.oooooooo56 you can write 5.6 x10-9

Example: instead of writing 0.000000056 you would write 5.6*10^-9
