  3. First, you have to know there are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour and 24 hours in a day. Multiply 60 seconds by 60 minutes and you will get 3600 seconds in one hour. Then, you multiply 3600 by 24 and get 86,400 seconds in a day now you divide 86,400 and you will get 43,200 now add 86,400 which is 129,600 seconds in 1 day and a half

  6. Joe's trip takes 1 and a half days(24 hours/day) × (60 minutes/hour) × (60 seconds/minute) = 86,400 seconds in a day. multiply 84600 by 1.5 equals 129,600

joe's trip will take a 1 1/2 days so you start with seconds. There are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour and 24 hours in a day so you multiply 60 seconds x 60 minutes and your answer is 3600. Add 12 to 24 because there is 12 in a half a day which is 36 then multiply 36 by 3600 and you get 129,600. It will take joe 129,600 to get to Nevada.

  10. It would take 129 seconds to get to Nevada. I got my answer by getting the total amount of seconds in an hour and the total amount of hours in a day and a half. Then I multiplied the seconds in an hour (3600) by the hours in 1 1/2 days (36) to get 129600 as my answer. So it would take Joe 126900 seconds to drive to Nevada

he will take 1day and 1/2 to get to Nevada fist I figured 24h= 1day half of 24 is 12h second I multiplied by 60min it came out to 2160 multiply by 60 sec= 129600 so convert to mins then hours and then figure days

  16. In one day there is 86,400 seconds. If you do 86,400/2=43,200 which is how many seconds there is in a half of day. When you add 86,400 and 43,200 you get 129,600 which is how many second it will take to get to Nevada
