GP 4 Week 6 Due 5/6

There are 27 people in Mr. Johnson's class.  8 people have red shirts on, 9 people have yellow shirts on, 3 have green on, and 7 have brown on.  If one person was picked at random, what percent chance does a person wearing a brown shirt have of being picked?

The answer I got is 29.63% wore brown shirts. I got this by dividing 100 by 27 and got 3.703703704.I multiplied that number by 8, 9, 3, 7. When I multiplied 3.703703704 by 8 and got 29.63.

Okay, so if you divide 7 brown shirts out of 27 shirts you get .259 blah blah blah. We just need to focus on .259. So now you multiply .259 by 100 you get 25.9. Now you need to round the number so you should get 26. That is how you get the answer 26%
