Grading Period 1, Week 7 (Due 10/12)
The middle school is going to have a walk-a-thon. Justice and Joseph are arguing who made more money per lap. Justice raises $333 for walking 11 laps. Joseph raises $400 for walking 8 laps. How much did each person raise per lap? Who was right?
Justice earned $30.27 per lap and Joseph made $50 per lap. Joseph was right because Joseph made more money per lap than Justice did. To be specific Joseph earn $19.73 more than Justice.
Justice earned $30.27 per lap and Joseph earned $50 per lap. Joseph was right because Joseph earned more money per lap than Justice did. To be specific Joseph earned $19.73 more than Justice.
La'crisa harris period 1. If Justice raises $333 for walking 11 laps then he makes $30.03 per lap. I got this by dividing 11 by 333 and got 30.27 which rounds to 30.3. Then you multiiply 30.3 by 11 and get 333. IF Joseph rasies $400 for walking 8 laps then he makes $50.00 per lap. I got this by dividng 8 by 400 then multiplying 8 by 50 and i got 400.
Justice makes $30.27 a lap and Joseph makes $80 per lap. I know this because of the fact that 333 divided by 11 =30.27. As well as the fact that 400 divided by 8 = 50.
Justice earned $30.27 per lap and Joseph made $50 per lap. Joseph was right because Joseph made more money per lap than Justice did. To be specific Joseph earn $19.73 more than Justice.
Joseph was right about making more money. Justice made $30.27 dollars per lap. I got this by dividing 333 by 11. This got me 30.27. Joseph got $50 per lap. I got this answer by dividing 400 by 80.
Amanda Embry period 2 Justice earned $30.27 per and I got that by dividing 333 by 11. Joseph earned $50 per lap and I got that by dividing 400 by 8. So Joseph was right because he made $19.73 more per lap than Justice.
Justice made $30.27 per lap.Joseph made $50 per lap.I know this because I did 333 divided by 11 and 400 divided by 8.Joseph was right because he earned more money than Justice.
justice raises $333 for walking 11 laps, so if justice made 333 for walking 11 laps, every lap he walked he got $30.27 b/c i divided 333 and 11 and i got 30.27. Joseph made $400 for walking 8 laps, so if Joseph made 400 for walking 8 laps, every lap he walked he earned 50$ pre lap, i divided 400 by 8 i got 50. Joseph and more then justice b/c 400 greater then 30.27
One thing I learned this week was finding the slope of a line. I also learned that you cannot find the slope if it is undefined. And I learned how to find unit rates. That is what I learned this week.
Justice raises $333 walking 11 laps, so if Justice made 333 for walking 11 laps, every 11 laps he walked he got $30.27 b/c I divided 333 and 11 and I got 30.27. Joseph made $400 for walking 8 laps, so if Joseph made 400 then that means that every 8 laps that Joseph walked was $50 more than what Justice made.
What I learned in math class this week. One thing I learned in math class was how to solve an equation and how to put it on a graph. That's what I learned in math class this week.
Justice made $30.27 per lap. While Joseph made $50 per lap.So Joseph was right because he earned more money then Justice did . I know this because 333 divided by 11 is 30.27 . And 400 divided by 8 is 50.
Justice made $30.27 per lap. Joseph and $50 per lap. How i found this was by dividing how much money they made by the number of laps they did each. This means that Joseph made more money per lap.
Justice made 30.27 for every lap she did. While Joseph on made 50$ per lap he did. Therefore Joseph was right because he did make more money then Justice so justice was wrong
This week in Math class i learned how to fnd the slope. i also learned how to find rise over run. The last thing i learned in math class was the formula for rise over run. Jalaysha Austin Period 3
Calei Johndson Period 2 Joseph makes $50 per lap. Justice makes $30.27. I know this because i divided the total amount of money by the number of the laps they each took. Joseph was right because he earned more money.
Justice earns $30.27 per lap. Joseph makes $50 per lap. Joseph is right b/c Joseph makes more money per lap than Justice does. To be specific, Joseph earn $19.73 more than Justice does.
Justice made $30.27 with each lap. Meanwhile Joseph made $50 with each lap. Joseph was right because he earned more than Justice.
