convince her coach that she is shooting better from the free throw line than
last year. Last year she
made 40 out of 50 free throws. This
year Jessica has made 74 out of 100 free throws. Is Jessica right that she is actually

ReplyDeleteNo Jessica is wrong. When she had 40 out of 50 she was doing better then 74 out of 100. Reason why is because when you subtracted 100-74=26. Back then she did better cause she only missed 10 which came from 50-40=10. So no Jessica is not right she is shooting better from the free throw line this year.

DeleteNo shes is wrong b/c 100 is bigger then 50. So you have to see that they are bigger she made 4/5 of her shoots last year and only made 7/10 of the shoots this year alone.So shes wrong to think that

ReplyDeleteNo, cause if you multiply 40 by 2 then 50 by 2 you get 80 out of 100. this year she got 74 out of 100 so therefore she is not doing better than last year. Multiplication is basically how i got my answer

Which her shooting this year was 74 out of 100 and last year was 80 out of 100. Her shooting this year was 6 shot shorter then last year.

This year she attempted 100 and made 74 of them. i took 50 x 2 = 100,then 40/10. Her percentage from last year was 4%. Her percentage from this year was 74%.
