GP 3 Week 8 Reflection (Due 3/6)

Jenny was returning to the United State from the United Arab Emirates. Before returning, she did some research and learned that the exchange rate is 2 US dollars for every 4 Dirhams. How many dollars would she get if she exchanged 21 Dirhams?  Make sure that your answer is rounded to the nearest hundredth to represent money.  Use three sentences to help explain how you got your answer.

  8. $10.50. To get this answer I found the unit rate of dirahms. The unit rate of dirahms is $0.50 US=1 dirahm. After this I multiplied 21 by 0.5. Therfore stating 21 dirahms equals 10.50 in the US.
