GP 3 Week 5 Reflection (Due 2/13)

Molly bought two heads of cabbage for

$1.80. How many heads of cabbage can


Willie buy if he has $28.80?  USE THREE SENTENCES TO HELP EXPLAIN HOW YOU GOT YOUR ANSWER.

    Willie can buy 32 cabbage heads. I got my answer by dividing $1.80 by 2 and got 0.9 (90 cents for each cabbage head). Then I divided $28.80 by 0.9 and got 32.

  2. Willie can buy 32 heads of cabbage. To get this answer i divided 1.80 by 2 to get the unit rate of 0.90. After this step I divided 28.80 by the unit rate to find how many that would allow. This equation gave me the answer of 32.

    Each head of lettucs cost $0.90. Then I divided $28.80 by $0.90 and got 32.

    Willie can get 32 heads of cabbage. I got this answer by dividing $1.80 by 2 and you get $0.90 . Then I divided .90 by $28.80 and I got 32.

  34. To get this answer, first step I did was 28.80 divided by 1.80 and I got 16 cabbage heads. Then i multiply 16 by and 2 and got 32 cabbage heads. The reason I multiply by 2 is because 2 cabbage heads is $1.80.

    1. Your answer is perfect. You looked at this promblem different that the rest of the students. You knew that $1.80 was for 2 cabbage heads. Most students had to divide by 2, then divide by .90. You are very smart!!

  35. To get this answer, first step I did was 28.80 divided by 1.80 and I got 16 cabbage heads. Then i multiply 16 by and 2 and got 32 cabbage heads. The reason I multiply by 2 is because 2 cabbage heads is $1.80.

  39. when i set up my equation i got my answer by dividing $1.80 by 2 and got 0.9 (.90 cents ) so each cabbage head we cost .90 cents each. Then i divied $28.80 by 0.9 and my answer was $32. Willie buys 32 cabbage head.
