GP 3 Week 10 Reflection (Due 3/20)
You spend $46 on supplies to make wooden ornaments and
plan to sell the ornaments for $8.50 each. What are the possible numbers
of ornaments that you can sell in order for your profit to be positive?
Explain how you got your answer!
he cant sell 5.4 of an ornament because hell spend more than he wants to i got this by dividing 8.50 getting 5.4 then taking 6x8.50 getting 51 so he will be spending more than he wants to
she can sell 5 ornaments.B/c all you do is divide 46 and 8.50 to 5.4 but you cant sell .4 of something that's just a rip off so .So that's how I got my answer .
England 7 If you spend 46$ on supply's 8 dosent go in to 46 but it can go over it which is positive so 8 times 6=48$ so you earned more then what you used to buy supply's so thats how i got my answer
England 7 she can sell 5 becuase you cant sell .411764706 of an ortiment. frist i divied $46 by $8.50 and you get 5.411764706 but you round down since you cant have .411764706 of an ordiment. then multiplie $8.50 by 5 and get $42.50.
He would have to sell 6 or more ornaments for the outcome of a positive profit. I got this answer by dividing 46 by 8.50 and got 5.412. You can't sell .412 of an ornament and 5 ornaments would be too low. So I went with the next number up which is 6.
The girl would have to sell the amount of 6 or more of ornaments, then divied 46/8.50 and you will get 5.412 then you have to round it down since you cant sell .412 of 5 ornaments. so i you have to go up one more to make 6. jackson7.
spend $46 on supplies to make wooed ornaments plan to sell for $8.50 each. how many ornaments to sell to be profitable? $46.00=$8.50 ornament 46.00/$8.50+5.4 6*8.50=$51.00 I would need to sell at least 6 ornament to shop a positive profit
He would have to sell6 more ornaments For the outcome of a positive profit.I got it by dividing 46 by 8.50 and got 5.412 she can't sell .412 of an ornament and 5 ornaments would be too low so I went with the next number which was 6. England 2
I solved the equation by adding 8.50 till i got up to $46. 8.50 x 5 = 42.5 but it didn't go past 46 so i times it by 6 8.50 x 6 = 51. i would have to use 6 to make a profit .
The number of ornaments you'd have to sell in order for your profit to be positive is 6. I got my answer by multiplying $8.50 and 6 which equals 51. You can't use 8.50 x 5 = 42.5 because the product is less than 46. That's why you would have to sell 6 instead of 5 to make a profit.
England 2: I would sell 6 ornaments because I divided 46 and 8.50 and got 5.412. I can't use that because its too low so I used the next number 6 to make a profit.
She would need to sell 6 ornaments. I got this answer by multiplying up 8.50 until it was pass $46. I need to sell 6 ornaments to make a profit. Jackson 7
She needs to sell 6 ornaments to make her profit. I got this because at first I did 8.50 * 5 but then that equaled 42.50 which is less than 46$ so then I did 8.50 * 6 then got 51$. 51 is greater than 46 so then she would make her profit by selling 6.
England 7 In order to make her profit she will need to sell 6 ornaments. I got my answer by multiplying 8.50 and 5 which equals $42.50 but that is less than $46. So I then did 8.50 times 6 and got $51. this worked because $51 is more than $46. That is why her profit will be met by selling 6.

ReplyDeletei got this by dividing 8.50 getting 5.4 then taking 6x8.50 getting 51 so he will be spending more than he wants to
He will have to sell 6. how i got this was 5 x 8 is 40 and 8 more would be 48. he will make a two dollar profit.
