GP 3 Week 9 (Due 3/8)

An object weighing 5 pounds on Earth will weigh 2 pounds on Mercury. The Statue of Liberty weighs 225 tons. What would it weigh on Mercury?

    Given that 1 U.S. ton is 2,000 pounds and the ratio is 2/5. You would take 2/5 and multiply it by 400. To get 800/2000 then do the same to 225 to turn it into pounds. That turns 225 tons into 450000. Meaning 800/2000 to ?/450000. then you solve that to get 180000
