If the bat ate 1050 over a period of 4 nights than you divide it by 4 immediately. Since it eats 25 more a night and the days are in order. The first night it would eat 212.5 then the next night it would eat 227.2 after that 262.2 and the last night it would eat 287.2.

The bat ate 1075 dragon flies. I know this because the bat first ate 1050. The bat then eats 25 more dragon flies each night. 1050 plus 25 is 1075 dragon flies.

  34. So X would be how much the bat ate the first night. You write down x+25 for the second night, x+50 for the third night, and x+75 for the fourth night. Add them all together, put it into an equation and solve it, it would be 4x=900. X=225, 225 the first night, 250 the second night, 275 the third night, and 300 for the fourth night.
